My professional journey began in 1977 when I joined The Tribune. My work took me to various places and organisations over the years. Among others, I had the good fortune to work as a journalist in Sunday Observer and India Today. Later, I headed the Indian Express and Hindustan Times newspaper editions in Chandigarh, before launching Day & Night News, a tri-lingual TV channel as its Director and CEO. Destiny finally made move into public life as an elected Member of Punjab Legislative Assembly. Yet, my love for journalism remains as steadfast as ever. The idea of this website is to share my lifetime work with you.
