Biography

Born in a military-farming family, with schooling in The Punjab Public School, Nabha, got higher education in Sports College, Jalandhar, DAV College, Jalandhar and Panjab University, Chandigarh. After 38 years as a journalist, including 20 years as Editor, moved into public life as Member, Punjab Legislative Assembly. Dabbled in sports, commentaries, documentaries and as TV host.
